Sky & Telescope MYSTIC MOUNTAIN PUZZEL

This beautiful jigsaw puzzle is 16 inches by 20 inches (41 x 51 cm). It depicts a turbulent cosmic pinnacle about 3 light-years (20 trillion miles) tall that lies within a vast stellar nursery called the Carina Nebula, located 7,500 light-years away in the southern constellation Carina.

The Hubble Space Telescope recorded the image, which is affixed to a strong cardboard backing and then die-cut to produce the 504 puzzle pieces. The finished product can be coated with puzzle glue, framed, and displayed.
